OMG! What a sweet find today! Surfing the internet and I come to find that my Original Fine Art Watercolor of "Bowl of Fruit," was used as a demonstration / tutorial for a young group of budding artists! Colleen Kammerer Photography Featured In Jersey Shore Book

Milltown, NJ - September 17th, 2017

"Dentzel Looff Antique Carousel" by Photographer, Colleen Kammerer, will be featured in the upcoming book, "The Jersey Shore: A History of its Past, Present and Future." The book is about the history of New Jersey's beach communities. "I am so excited for my image of the Dentzel Looff Carousel to be included as part of The Jersey Shore book!! It will be one of 40 photographs and illustrations from various artists, that will represent New Jersey. What an honor!!" About the photograph: This particular Dentzel Looff Carousel is amazing. It is one of only approximately 150 vintage carousels still in operation in the United States. It has quite an interesting history. New Jersey Photographer, Colleen Kammerer's work has been featured on the cover of Southern Ocean County's 2015 Escape Guide. The travel magazine is the official visitor's guide to LBI, (Long Beach Island) one of New Jersey's premier summer destinations. Ms. Kammerer's image that was chosen is called, "I Heart LBI." "The photo is all about my love for the Jersey Shore," explained Ms. Kammerer, "A beautiful summer day; Old Barney with its head in the clouds, and a collection of seashells in the shape of a heart in the foreground. I'm so proud that my Photo will welcome visitors to the Jersey shore this year!"
